I have over thirty years’ experience of working in museums. I started out as a Textile Conservator at the V&A, later moving to the National Museums Liverpool (NML). From 2004 I worked as Head of Museum Exhibitions developing and delivering temporary and touring exhibitions across NML’s museum sites. I led on a wide range of exhibitions from award winning interactive science-based displays to social history, art installations and photography exhibitions.

I have always loved working with creative people both within the museums and externally to find innovative ways to interpret stories that are engaging and entertaining. In 2013 I left the museum and set up a museums and heritage consultant. My most recent commission was with the Blackpool Museum Project working as Interim Project Manager to lead the development of the concept and content for a new museum Showtown. I retired in October 2019 from gainful employment but still get a buzz from creative ventures and developing projects.
