Wirral Arts & Culture CLT Launch
The Wirral Arts and Culture Community Land Trust – WACCLT – is the first arts and culture based Community Land Trust in the country. It’s an exciting new organisation which aims to deliver ambitious and transformational arts programmes for the local communities of Wirral, with an emphasis on harnessing creative growth as a powerful source of individual and collective wellbeing.
The flagship project is Ron’s Place. Recognised as a world-class example of a visionary environment in Birkenhead, Ron’s Place will be used to inspire artists and non-artists alike to explore the power of their creativity and how the products of that creativity can enrich the lives of our wider communities.
A special launch celebration will explain more about WACCLT and what its aims are; how it will benefit the local community; and how it will provide arts and cultural activities and facilities, with the emphasis on health and wellbeing, inspiring people from all walks of life to explore their creativity.
The launch will have special guests, film, music, chat and an opportunity to talk to WAC board members and other guests in a pay bar area. Come and learn the plans and become a member for just £1.
