Laura Davis

Laura Davis is an award-winning journalist and audience development specialist, who has been writing about Liverpool City Region’s arts and cultural scene for more than two decades, most notably as Arts Editor of both the Liverpool Daily Post and the Liverpool Echo.

She was Senior Customer Editor for Reach Plc’s North West websites, including two of the UK’s biggest regional news brands, the Liverpool Echo and the Manchester Evening News. This leadership role included building audience loyalty, overseeing a portfolio of 40-plus newsletters, managing a team of social media editors and using data analysis to inform editorial strategy.

A graduate of UCLan’s prestigious Journalism Innovation & Leadership Programme, she now works freelance, as a writer and audience development consultant, helping organisations build meaningful relationships with their users.

Laura is editor of the newsletter Stored Honey, which explores the Arts scene of the North West of England, and co-presenter of the podcast Beatles City.
